Weirdly sparse décor and soul-less ambiance, but very special food. Traditional japanese feasts of lots of tiny courses - all vegetarian/vegan - although totally appealing to otherwise meat-eaters too. Careful service and beautifully presented work of art type special occasion food. We sat at the bar, which helped ignore the otherwise strange atmosphere. Just been awarded a Michelin star, so hope it gets busier and buzzier - and perhaps a few more things added to the interior to make it feel a little warmer.

Its austere and with very little vibe but it’s a temple to creative Japanese food. Just got a michelin star.
