One of my most regular eating places in NYC. Japanese style macrobiotic food (vegan plus fish). Really clean, nourishing food. This location is slightly calmer and more uspcale ambiance than it's Union Square sister. Menus are slightly different at each as now under separate management.

If we can't be bothered to cook we go to Souen. Great Simple truly Macrobiotic food. My faves are the Teriyake sea bass and the Futomaki rolls but its all good.
