We FINALLY got around to actually sitting and eating at Le Verdure in Eataly last week - and very delicious it was too. Very exciting to enjoy vegetable-based food which is about celebrating vegetables rather than excluding other foods - and therefore wasn't remotely 'worthy', and the fact that most of the dishes are vegan is by the by (but very nice for us!).
Everything we tried (except the farro salad, which sadly fell into the dull vegan category), was delicious - fresh, simple dishes, generously seasoned and stylishly put together in that lovely informal Italian way. Graeme has been reluctant to go eat in a 'shop', but actually, for lunch it was fun. Almost like being in Italy in fact.
