Utterly beautiful wild place. Vast nature reserve spanning coast with enormous dramatic sand dunes and inland bush with lots of animals to see. A handful of sweet self-catering cottages are scattered across the reserve - some more comfortable than others, but all very quaint. There's a cafe/restaurant too (which we didn't try, but seemed fine). Fantastic hikes along the coast/inland. Special place to escape to.

On the plains there are antelope and Zebra but it’s the sand dunes that I love here that look like snow capped mountains until you get close. And when you clamber to the top you see the ocean crashing in and it feels like the desert meeting the sea, The cottages are simple but stylish.
