The Places loulabelle Loves

Cafe Gratitude 18.10.11
“Unbelievably good food and waiters/waitresses/chefs who care about your well being & the big blue planet...no, really..these people really, really care. They even do workshops. It is impossible to choose so my advice is ask for their guidance. All local produce and it's utterly delicious. Apparently the cleanse is currently all the buzz in the circles of "those who know". All I know is that this food is so good, the people so wonderful, the experience so healthy, it makes you sing!”

Elf 18.10.11
“Elf is a teeny tiny delight with food to match. The care and love that goes into making this delicious middle eastern vegetarian food makes it all the better. Every ingredient has a local story that the waiter will tell you if you ask. It's simple fare made magical. And now you can reserve a table. Hooray.
Be warned though, must bring cash.”

Balthazar 27.11.10
“Special memories of buzzing activity, delicious forbidden deserts and an ambiance that the French would envy.”

The Little Door 27.11.10
“When the sun goes down this is one of the most romantic restaurants in L.A. A real treat, wonderful service in a divine setting. The cuisine is traditional French and Moroccan, organic and delicious. Another highlight is fine wines by the glass. If solo, sitting at the bar will certainly lead to fascinating conversation. The perfect place to say "I do" or just to go and practice! Website doesn't do it justice. At night with all the candles lit, it's magical.”
